Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH)

(All primary, secondary, and kindergarten students across Hong Kong)

The "ICH Hub" is funded by the Intangible Cultural Heritage Funding Scheme of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD). It is a dynamic program designed to engage students through diverse activities, fostering a fun and interactive environment for them to explore the various types, history, and cultural significance of intangible cultural heritage (ICH).

The initiative aims to guide students from awareness to understanding, and from understanding to appreciation, ultimately inspiring a sense of responsibility and confidence in preserving these traditions.

Organized by the Intangible Cultural Heritage Office from March 2025 to February 2027, with planning by the Hong Kong UNESCO Association, the program will be hosted at the Hong Kong Intangible Cultural Heritage Centre (located in the Sam Tung Uk Museum, Tsuen Wan). Through a series of interactive educational activities, it seeks to deepen students' knowledge and interest in Hong Kong's ICH.
